The major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize the POW-MIA issue:
To educate the public that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect the future Veterans from being left behind should they become Prisoners Of War-Missing In Action. We are committed to helping American Veterans from all wars. Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is a non-profit organization and everyone donates his or her time because they believe in the POW/MIA Issue that we are working on.

WE ARE NOT A MOTORCYCLE CLUB
We are a group of committed individuals from all walks of life that share a common interest in our POW's and MIA's. We have monthly meetings where we talk about and plan chapter activities including the many events, fundraisers, rides and other fun activities throughout the year to raise money and awareness for the POW/MIA cause.
While many members ofRolling Thunder® are veterans and many ride motorcycles, you do not need either to be a member. Members are veterans and non-veterans, young and old, men and women. All are united in the cause to bring accountability for the Prisoners Of War-Missing In Action (POW/MIA) of all wars, and reminding the
government, the media and public by our watchwords:
“We Will NotForget.”
I believe our flag is more than just cloth and ink. It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty, and freedom. It is the history of our nation, and it's marked by the blood of those who died defending it.
